THOUGHTS
Back in the day when I was living in the D/FW area, I used to love reading Blackie Sherrod’s “Scattershooting” articles. They were short little columns typically focused on sports, with Blackie’s humor and sarcasm sprinkled throughout. I have his “Scattershooting” book in one of my Amazon lists, but can’t seem to find time for any reading these days, so there it remains. Nonetheless, if you enjoy sarcastic sports humor and don’t mind that it will be mostly focused on D/FW area sports of the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s, I urge you to give it a read. You can either thank me or call me an idiot later.

TODAY’S ELECTRONIC TRACK
“Justice vs. Wolfgang Gartner – Genesis Shot Pt. II (Thomas Radman Mash Up)” by Thomas Radman. This track starts out calmly enough, but soon the beat drops and it becomes a melodic cacophony (oxymoron!) of video game sounds, growls, glitches, and vocalizations. It’s a good workout song to get that blood pumping. Let’s go!

Everything that I’m watching saw mostly positive results again at the close of yesterday’s markets. (NOTE: “overall” below refers to: since I’ve been tracking daily; mid-January for MTCH and T; mid-February for VMEO).

The Minds coins cryptocurrency (based on Ethereum) was also up again this morning, approximately +$0.07 yet again to ~$1.34/coin; -$1.53/coin overall

THE WRAP/MUSICAL START
Well, that’s a wrap. I’ll be starting the day off with the next song in my Spotify playlist (Randomly Cool Big List No.1), “Carouselambra” by Led Zeppelin. Originally, this was the 5th track on the album ‘In Through The Out Door’. It is not a track for everyone, particularly those who prefer short songs. However, for those of us raised on album rock where 10-minute songs (Pink Floyd, early Rush, The Doors, Deep Purple, etc.) were not all that unusual, this one is right in our wheelhouse despite the emphasis on John Paul Jones’ keyboard work over Jimmy Page’s guitar.
Led Zeppelin was a chameleon band that was quite capable of pulling off any sound, be it the sounds of a carousel or a country-like song (“And I’ll never go to Texas anymore”) thanks to the musical versatility and open-mindedness that all four members shared.
Remember, Fear is the Mind-Killer, Don’t Panic, Keep Your Head Right with Ball, and May God be gracious to you and bless you and make His face shine upon you.
