Starting Music for March 15th, 2022
Aloha world and happy Everything You Think Is Wrong Day! It’s a call to challenge what you think and not just accept what you think you know. Here in the Hall of Fame city located in NE Ohio (USA), it is Tuesday, Mar. 15th –the 74th day of the year. On this Ides of March/National Shoe the World/Social Work/Pears Helene (yummy!) Day, we are starting with cloudy skies. Following are the weather stats from 8:15 a.m.
Side note: We have another incoming CME from the sun projected to possibly deliver a glancing blow to the Earth’s magnetic field on the 17th. Details at spaceweather.com

I opt out of all unnecessary cookies, don’t do those ‘what kind of animal are you?’-type surveys, don’t ‘like’ posts my friends/family share if I can’t find/don’t trust the source, and avoid most of the ‘big media’ sites. Nonetheless, I still have to remove ‘big tech’ trackers every morning:
–and this is just my PC; it does not include my mobile devices!
On this date in 1987, I worked my last day at my first employer in Texas: Kmart. I worked in the toy section, met several friends who I am still in contact with today, and met one of my first crushes whom I would later wind up dating. My friends and I played for several years afterwards on the Blue Light Specials softball team and would eventually win our city’s adult division.
The after-game party usually occurred at the apartment I shared with my roommate who also had moved down there from Ohio. Good times! I think our place started out as the go-to spot as we were among the few of our friends not still living at home, and it just kind of stayed that way, aside from the brief time of my marriage and for a few years afterward.
I eventually moved back into my first doublewide (again with a roommate to help with the financials), and it became the after-basketball hangout as well as the place where a lot of the big sporting events were watched. Again, good times, but I also think the constant traffic in my homes for so many years (almost 2 decades!) is why I enjoy my solitude these days.
TODAY’S ELECTRONIC TRACK
“Feel Me (Clark Kent Remix)” by Two Friends feat. Priyanka Atreya. I really like the vocals in this track as well as the buildup to the drop. The tension leads to a satisfying drop of the beat, some really good growls, and breaks in all the right spots. There is a repeat of the build and drop towards the end of the song which is always kind of fun. If I had a complaint, it would be that there is definitely some room for some guitar work in there!
