Starting Music for Thursday, Feb. 24th, 2022

Aloha world! Here in the Hall of Fame city located in NE Ohio (USA), it is Thursday, Feb. 24th –the 55th day of the year. I forgot to mention that I saw the 1st Robin of Spring yesterday, but I think I heard one the day before when it was warmer. Hopefully they can forage for enough stuff to stay warm until some nicer weather arrives later this week. Following are the weather stats from 8:15 a.m.

Those of you with clear skies will be able to see Saturn, which is now visible in the dawn twilight. Rising just before the Sun, the Planet of Rings shares western Capricornus with Mercury. Mercury is easier to spot from where it’s sitting to Saturn’s upper right. If you follow west along the ecliptic, you’ll also see Venus and Mars in Sagittarius. Venus is the brightest object, and the Red Planet is the least bright, barely shining south of Venus. Both of these planets rise around 4:30 A.M. local time. Happy slewing!

Numbers reveal that we engage more when angered or made to fear something. Stop the madness. Opt out of all but necessary cookies. Don't share clickbait that makes you angry or fearful. Check the same story on opposite politically-minded sites, then come to your own conclusion and share that with thoughtfulness. Otherwise, fat wallets, war pigs, and power-hungry sources with their own agendas keep winning. We have the numbers, but we have to quit being intellectually lazy. You can't accept that something is true just because you want it to be true. Dig for the truth and you'll see that ALL entities with power in this world employ mood-altering propaganda. Rise above it.

FINANCIALS

Everything that I’m watching and everything in my itty-bitty portfolio was down at the close of yesterday’s markets, thanks to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. I just hope it doesn’t lead to something bigger. Prayers for the innocents caught in the middle and anyone forced to engage against their will. (NOTE: “overall” below refers to: since I’ve been tracking daily; mid-January for MTCH and T; mid-February for VMEO).

MTCH -$2.62/share; -$11.30/share overall

VMEO -$0.62/share; -$1.03/share overall

T (AT&T) -$0.24/share; -$1.70/share overall

The Minds coins cryptocurrency (based on Ethereum) was down big this morning approximately -$0.63 to ~$1.27/coin; -$1.60/coin overall.

Check out Stockpile for traditional shares because you can order by a dollar amount instead of whole shares and build from there. If you’re confident of a bounce-back from the markets in the coming months, it’s a good time to invest.

Well, that’s a wrap. I’ll be starting the day off with the Black Sabbath song that reminds us of how those in power tend to become “War Pigs” because they and those they consider close don’t have to fight, plus they stand to make a lot of money. The song’s writer, Geezer Butler, has said that what he was trying to say was that war is the real Satanism and politicians are the real Satanists. He was speaking out against the horrors of war.

Remember, Fear is the Mind-Killer, Don’t Panic, Keep Your Head Right with Ball, and May God be gracious to you and bless you and make His face shine upon you.
